John Weichert substituted for Isaac King during the Civil War. He was drafted 23 Oct 1862, served 9 months, discharged 28 July 1863 at Harrisburg, PA. He was shot in the ankle, was discharged from Company C, PA Drafted Militia. He served in the Calvary. Can anyone help me learn what Regiment he served in so I can order his Civil War records and pension records? Thanks, Dorothy
