    3. Hi, Bob: I have many Klinedinst/Klinedienst/Kleindinst... on my family trees, but not the Mary you mention. I did a quick census search on Heritage Quest and found no Klinedienst in 1860 PA, but I did find 21 Klinedinst households in 1860 PA. None were shown in Carroll Twp., but this one is close by: Series: M653  Roll: 1198  Page: 506 1860 - Dillsburg P.O., Franklin Twp., York Co., PA - 6/13/1860 Joseph Klinedinst - 30 - m - w - mason Lydia ---------------- - 27 - f - w Mary ----------------- - 8 - f - w David ---------------- - 3 - m - w Henry Hess* - 19 - m - w - laborer Alphoe... Kapp - 19 - m - w - laborer *I believe it's Hess, it looks like Hefs, which I think is the German double s. PA for all. Could this be Mary & Walter in 1870? Series: M593  Roll: 1470  Page: 397 1870 - Mounttop P.O., Warrington Twp., York Co., PA - 7/28/1870 Cook, Walker* - 20 - m - w - day laborer ------- Mary - 19 - f - w - keeping house ------- Era - 1 - m - w ------- Ella - 1 mo. - f - w - born in June ------- Martha - 62 - f - w - housekeeper *clearly says Walter PA for all. next household on page: Cook, Hesekiah - 33 - m - w - farmer ------- Eve - 33 - f - w - keeping house ------- Catherine - 11 - f - w - goes to school ------- George - 9 - m - w - " ------- Matilda - 7 - f - w - " ------- Oliver - 6 - m - w - " ------- John - 4 - m - w ------- Adaline - 2 mos. - f - w - born in March Marks, Daniel - 16 - m - w - farm laborer PA for all 2 household later: Klinedinst, John - 54 - m - w- brick layer ------------- Mary* - 15 - f - w - keeping house ------------- Sarah J. - 11 - f - w - goes to school ------------- John - 17 - m - w - " Wever, Lydia - 19 - f - w - housekeeper * or Marg PA for all. I went back to the 1860 listings to try to find this John Klinedinst to see if there was an 8-9 yo Mary/MJ... with him, but I could not find a John Klinedinst in the right age group. Hope there's something useful here. Debra On Tuesday, Aug 10, 2004, at 21:38 US/Eastern, CookeRL3@aol.com wrote: > Is anyone familiar with who the parent's were of Mary? 3. On my earlier message, I made an error on the 1870 Walker Cook information. I noted that the census page said "Walker", but then said that it clearly said "Walter." Wrong...it clearly shows "Walker." Sorry for any confusion. Debra On Wednesday, Aug 11, 2004, at 07:30 US/Eastern, D.
