Hi List: I am again well enough to do look-ups on my BC Directory for 1890 (disc) and I also have the list of all the people buried in the Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery in Anne Arundel County. My husband's relative in the Wood line, Samuel Wood Sr., in his will gave $100 for the building of this church. He died in 1832 in Friendship. We unfortunately have not found him in the cemetery even with the rector's help. There are some graves that are unmarked so perhaps he and his wife Susanna Steuart are there. Both the Directory look-ups and the cemetery are easy for me to do. I am still recovering from major neck surgery but am getting better. I will eventually do all the promised look-ups in the St. James Parish books. I have all the e mails I received and I will eventually do them. They are harder because they required more typing and in some cases lots of typing. I might try scanning the pages instead of typing. I have a good scanner. Well bring on the requests, I am ready. Unbelievably we are having a heat wave in Washington State and we are spending more time home in the air conditioning. Hi! Do you have any listing for the name Mahone in BC Directory? My g-grandfather Albert Mahone was a Mason and did SO MANY of the steps and sidewalks, etc. in BC. His dad Wm. H. Mahone and wife Fanny ? should be listed somewhere as living there. I could not find them in the Ancestry.com Census records. I feel they are buried at Druid Hill Cem. maybe. Albert is buried at Loudoun Park Cem. Anything on Mahone would be greatly appreciated, in BC. Thanks, Mrs. Indiana Mahone Shepp P.S. Keep cool. It's cool tonight and thunderstorms here in Pa. ----- Original Message ----- From: "LGaia" <lgaia@comcast.net> To: <PA-YORK-GEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, July 31, 2004 5:22 PM Subject: [PAYorkGEN] Free look-ups Baltimore City 1890 City Directory and Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery > Hi List: > > I am again well enough to do look-ups on my BC Directory for 1890 (disc) > and I also have the list of all the people buried in the Friendship United > Methodist Church Cemetery in Anne Arundel County.
