Steve if you are from this side of the family I have a couple of other pictures of Christoph and Dorthea. Let me hear. The picture would have been taken at the home in Rehmeyer Hollow by where the mill was. Nelson Rehmeyer's house which is still standing is farther west on the road. The McCann's or at least some of them were on the other side of the road at Rehmeyer Hollow I believe. I am down from Maria Magdelena Rehmeyer and George McCann. Kaye

When I was a child in the 1940's and lived near Emigsville I think there was an old stone house on the right side of the road when coming from York. If this is the house I think it may have been torn down at some point, it appeared very old in the 1940's, again possibly someone in the York Co. Canadochly Church records are available through Ancestry.com. There are two churches there side by side each with thier own cemetery. One is Luthern and I believe the other may be Reformed of Methodist.
Do you have access to the Canodochly Church records?
