He was in Newberry Twps,York Co,PA in 1790. He had a son George List who was in the Revolutionary War in 1778 and went to KY in 1791. Any information would be great. Thank you. You'd have a lot better chance of folks finding your family members if you'd give them some idea of the time frame....even the right century would be a help. Many of our resources only cover specific dates, and if we knew when your family was in York County we'd know where to look for them. If you family was there in the 1900s then there would be no need for me to try to find them in my 18th century church records, etc......so, dates, even if approximate ones, are necessary when placing a query. The only Blair in the 18th Century church records book is; James of Esther Reid Blair, born .....baptized Aug. 27, 1796 This was in the private register of the Rev. Robert Cathcart, who was a Presbyterian minister, of the Seceder sect. There was no nothing in the above records for anyone named Rainbow or Ramble. There are no York Co. wills mentioning the name Rainbow, and the only Ramble one is in 1881, too late to be of any help to you. There are no mentions in York Co wills of any of your Blair names either......sorry. found these 2, as emigrants to PA; Daniel Freysinger arrived I 1749, aboard the JACOB, and then took the oath of allegiance required of all those considered foreigners. the people on this ship were from Swabia, Wirtemberg and Darmstadt.
