    3. ORLANDER, SCHEFELBEIN Mike ORLANDER, 26, was killed and Frank CHRISTY was fatally wounded during a fight on the public road near Raccoon Sunday night. Patrick CHRISTY of Raccoon, who is alleged to have done the shooting, is missing. The trio had been drinking during the evening at a club and while on their way home to Raccoon a dispute arose, which led to the shooting. It is supposed that ORLANDER shot CHRISTY and that CHRISTY's brother then shot and killed ORLANDER. What started the trouble is not known. Officers a looking for Patrick CHRISTY. He and Frank CHRISTY are brothers. The men are coal miners. On last Saturday evening, between 9 and 10 o'clock, Karl SCHEFELBEIN, a native of German, while walking on the Noblestown road near the MILLER farm, was struck by an automobile and died from the injuries received before medical aid could reach him. The driver of the machine and its occupants are unknown, as they never made any attempt to care for the injured man. Mr. SCHEFELBEIN boarded at the LYNCH home in Sturgeon and had been in McDonald during the evening. He was employed at the mines of the Fayette Coal company and had been in this section for about three months. Papers were found on his person giving his name and the date of his birth and also when he came to this country. Mr. SCHEFELBEIN has a wife and family in Germany. He was 49 years of age and came to America in May, 1912. Services were held at the HUMPHRIES morgue at four o'clock Tuesday evening, in charge of Rev. CAVITT, pastor of the Robinson Run U. P. church.
