    3. DALYLEISH, PIERCE, MUNN Chas. BRICELAND and John B. HOLLAND were in Pittsburg on Wednesday attending the funeral of their late comrade, Capt. W. M. DALYLEISH. Sixteen members of the company were present to pay their respects to a loved comrade. Quiet a number from a single company, when you recall that it is forty-two years since they were organized. For one by one the bugle blows light out-soon darkness will reign King over the defenders of the sixties. Claude, the four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude PIERCE, died on Tuesday morning of diphtheria and was buried the same day at Arlington, Dr. IRONS conducting the services. Mr. MUNN died Wednesday evening at the home of his son-in-law, D. R. MCNARY, after a short illness. Mr. MUNN was the oldest person in all of this community. Had he lived until January 1, he would have been 91 years of age. He was born in Pittsburg where the Birmingham station now stands, upon which site was a hotel kept by his father for many years, where the farmers coming to the city with their produce would stop and feed their horses and get their meals. The family later moved to Noblestown and then to Peter's Creek, Washington county. Here Mr. MUNN was married to Miss Eliza MCDONALD. After some years the family returned to Oakdale, and in 1891 they moved to McDonald where they have since resided. Mrs. MUNN died in 1893 and since that time Mr. MUNN and his daughter, Tillie, have resided together. Mr. MUNN was a great reader and he had a remarkable memory, being able to recall things that happened, not only a great many years ago, but also the events of the present. He took an especial interest in the present Japanese-Russia war, and was posted with reference to the movements of either.
