    2. The Daily Courier Thursday, April, 10, 1947 GILLELAND Mrs Elizabeth GILLELAND, 86, died Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Henry R STRICKLER, at Uniontown. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and two sons, Henry and Robert. Surviving are three sons, Leroy and James of Pittsburgh road, and Charles of Uniontown; three daughters, Mrs Thomas ALLISON of Star Junction, Mrs Ross HOLT of Elizabeth and Mrs STRICKLER. The funeral service will be held at 2 oclock Friday afternoon in the Clayton Whetsel funeral home, Upper Middletown, with Rev W E HARPER, pastor of Flatwoods Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Flatwoods Cemetery. MCMANIS Fred MCMANIS, 43, former resident of Masontown, died Wednesday morning at his home at Penn Pitt, Greene County. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Josephine OWENS MCMANIS; three sons, Oliver (Bud) MCMANIS, Fred Jr, Eugene and one daughter, Edith Joyce, all at home; his parents, Mr and Mrs Walter MCMANIS of Masontown: two sisters, Mrs Clarence CLARK of Nemacolin and Mrs Rachel RIGGIN of Detroit, Mich; five sons, Ray MCMANIS and Howard MCMANIS of Masontown, Clark of McClellandtown, George of Wheeling, W Va, and Walter of Greensboro. BOYLE Mrs Bessie ISER BOYLE, 49, wife of John BOYLE, died at 5 oclock Tuesday morning at her home at Wheeling W Va. She was born at Romney, W Va September, 29, 1897, a daughter of Mr and Mrs G W ISER of Connellsville. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by two brothers, G W ISER, Jr and William W ISER, both of Connellsville, Burial will be made today in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery at Romney, W Va. CARTER Mrs Zephyr CARTER, 58, of Colonial No 4 (Grindstone), died Tuesday night at her home. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Lucille WHIGHAM of Grindstone; one sister, Mrs Elizabeth WASHINGTON of Birmingham, Ala, and one brother, Alex MILES, also of Birmingham. There is also one grandson. PRODEN George PRODEN, 69, died Saturday at his home at Point Marion after an extended illness. Surviving are his widow and six children. The funeral mass will be held Friday morning. DILDA Mrs Adele RIGHI DILDA, 75, died at 5 oclock Wednesday evening in Masontown where she had resided for the past 20 years. Surviving are her husband, Palmiro DILDO, and the following children: Mrs Vincent VALLI of Greensboro, Thomas RIGHI of Masontown, Mrs Alexander CALZA in Italy, William DILDA of Detroit, Mich, and Orland DILDA of Pittsburgh. There are 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. STILLWAGON The funeral for James S STILLWAGON, who died Tuesday morning at Breakneck, will be held Friday afternoon with a brief service at 2 30 oclock in the Charles A McCormick funeral home, South Pittsburg street,. Additional rites will be conducted at 3 oclock in the Church of God with Rev Clem BARCUS, pastor, officiating. Rev John L WOODS of Clinton will assist. Burial will be made in Hill Grove Cemetery. SABOL Mrs Mary Ellen SABOL, 47, died Tuesday night after a lingering illness at her home in Uniontown. She was a member of St Mary’s RC Church and the MSS Branch 703 of Republic. Surviving are her husband, Andrew M SABOL; one daughter, Marie, at home; one brother, John MANDOCK of Uniontown; and two sisters, Mrs Helen BERGEN of Republic and Mrs Ann SMITH of Monessen. LENCEK Joseph LENCEK, 72, of Wick Haven, died at 1 10 oclock Wednesday afternoon at his home. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Mary LENCEK, and five stepchildren, Louis TAPPER and Anna TAPPER of Wick Haven, Ralph TAPPER of Perryopolis, Timothy TAPPER of Crucible and JOSEPH TAPPER with the US Army in Panama Canal Zone. BLACKSHERE Mrs Rachel GARARD BLACKSHERE, 73, died Wednesday afternoon in Masontown. Surviving are two children, Edward of near Mapletown, Greene county and Mrs John TIPPEN, Jr of Adah, and one brother, Alfred Y GARARD of Jefferson.
