    2. The Daily Courier November 5 1966 ROSENSTEEL Mrs Mae N ROSENSTEEL, 65, of 317 Ridge Blvd, died at 10 22 am Friday in the Laurel Rest Home, Uniontown, after a lingering illness. She was born Jan 13, 1901, near Ruffsdale, a daughter of the late Emery B and Ellen FAUST SLEASMAN, and had spent most of her life in the Connellsville area. She was a member of the First EUB Church and Win One Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband, Roy; three daughters, Mrs Harry (Ella Mae) ANDERSON of Buffalo, NY, and Mrs Clyde (Katherine) FOSBRINK and Mrs Clifford (Lela) DEAVER of Connellsville; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles SLEASMAN of Connellsville RD 1 and Allison SLEASMAN of Smithdale; two sisters, Mrs Louis (Irene) SCHROYER of Dawson and Mrs Ernest (Alberta) LILLEY of Adah; and three stepsons, Earl ROSENSTEEL of Vanderbilt, and Kenneth and Wayne of Trotter. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles MARTIN, in 1941. The body will be at the Brooks funeral home after 3 pm today. The funeral will be held there at 2 pm Monday with the Rev Lester CRUM officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. ZERBY Mrs Gladys F ZERBY, 57, of Continental No 3, died at 6 25 pm Wednesday in Uniontown Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Charles W; seven sons, three daughters, 17 grandchildren, two brothers, including Edward YONKEY of Uniontown, and two sisters, including Mrs Rose MILLER of Brownfield Air Shaft. A prayer service will be held at 2 pm Sunday in the Wagner-Cooley funeral home Fairchance, followed by additional services in Jacobs Lutheran Church, with the Rev Frederick A Prezioso officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. MCWILLIAMS Mrs Mary L MCWILLIAMS, 92, of Ronco, died at 2 45 am Friday in Uniontown Hospital. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Masontown. Surviving is a daughter, Milddred, at home. Her husband, S E MCWILLIAMS, died in May 1956. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Vance funeral home, Smithfield, with the Rev John C MAHLER officiating. Burial will be in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown. EVANS Mrs Anna Mary EVANS, 80, of 604 East Fayette St, died Friday afternoon in her home. She was born Nov 12, 1865, in Everson Valley, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret METZEN HARTZ. She was a member of Immaculate Conception RC Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs Margaret SHALLENBERGER at home, Mrs Marion GRABB and Mrs Herbert (Mary Catherine) HELMS of Connellsville, Mrs Neal (Anna Mae) RAE of Homestead and Mrs Thomas (Lorraine) WHITE of South Connellsville; five sons, Thomas of Maywood, Calif, Harry and Vincent of Connellsville, John of Salem, NJ, and Raymond of Mount Pleasant; 27 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred HARTZ of Connellsville and Matthew HARTZ of Smock; and two sisters, Mrs George (Katherine) BARTHOLOMAI of South Connellsville and Mrs Raymond (Margaret) CECIL of Leisenring No 1. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D EVANS, a daughter, Anna Mary, two sons, Charles and William, five brothers, Dave, John, Thomas, Charles and George, and a sister, Mrs Mary ROSENDALE. The body will be at the Fink funeral home at 7 30 pm today. A prayer service will be held there at 9 am Tuesday follow by requiem high mass at 9 30 am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, with Rev Augustine MARZHAUSER as celebrant. Interment will be in St Joseph’s Cemetery. BAILY Eli Gaddis BAILY, 101, of Carmichaels, died at 6 45 pm Friday in his home. A retired farmer and stock raiser, he was a lifelong resident of Carmichaels. He was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Carmichaels and a 58-year member of the Carmichaels Grange. He was born March 3, 1865, at Carmichaels, a son of the late Ellis and Harriet GADDIS BAILY. Surviving are three sons, two daughters, three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was the last of a family of 10. A prayer service will be held at 1 45 pm Monday at the Lesako funeral home, Carmichaels, followed by memorial services at 2 pm in the First Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park. WAGNER Mrs Alice JACKSON WAGNER, 73, of Uniontown, died Friday at her home. She was a member of Great Bethel Baptist Church of Uniontown, Lola Brownsfield Bible Class, and Ohiopyle Grange No 1933, and a former member of Falls City Baptist Church, Ohiopyle. Surviving are two daughters, including Mrs John (Betty) STEFAN of Uniontown; a son; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, and Miss Irene JACKSON of Uniontown. Her husband, George J, died in Sept 22, 1947. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Gleason funeral home, Uniontown, with Rev John A MUELLER of Washington, Pa, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. ANDERSON The funeral for Charles F ANDERSON, 58, of Morrell will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Brooks funeral home, with the Rev J L DUNLAP officiating. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. He was born in Springfield Township, and was a lifelong resident of the area. KUPETS George KUPETS, 5, of Uniontown RD 3, died at 4 am Friday in the home of his sister, Mrs Mary KUPETS RUBLE. Also surviving is a brother, Andrew of Uniontown, RD 3. A prayer service will be held at 9 30 am Monday in the Goldsboro funeral home, Fairchance, followed by requiem high mass at 10 am in SS Cyril and Methodius RC Church, Fairchance. Interment will be in St Joseph’s Cemetery. DOYLE Thomas T DOYLE, 78, of CINCINNATI, Ohio, formerly of Connellsville, and a former employee of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, died unexpectedly Thursday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs Gertrude MUNK DOYLE, in 1957. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs William WHITELAW, and two grandchildren. The funeral and interment will be Monday in Cincinnati. MANTELL Paul MANTELL, 64, of Culebra Island, Puerto Rico, formerly of Connellsville, died Friday evening in his home. Surviving in addition to his widow, Mary Beth, are several nieces and nephews, including DJ SCHIAVONI and Carl PETRONE of Connellsville. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon in Culebra.
