The Valley Independent Saturday, October 29, 1988 MOORE Agnes MOORE of 508 Bluff St, Belle Vernon, died suddenly on Friday, Oct 28, 1988, at 10 45 am in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 82. Mrs MOORE was born July 15, 1906, in Belle Vernon, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ann WILSON VITZA. She was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, George T SINCLAIR; three brothers, Samuel, John and James VITZA; and three sisters, Mary VITZA, Ella RADE and Josephine ROGERS. Survivors include her husband, Elmer; a daughter, Mrs James (Carolyn) BATWINIS of Mountain View, Calif; a stepdaughter, Mrs John (Sue) DUNLOP of Belle Vernon; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave, Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. BERES Paul BERES, 79, formerly of Monessen, died Friday, Oct 28, 1988, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, following a declining illness. Mr BERES was born June 11, 1909, in Austria Hungary, a son of the late George and Margaret KATKA BERES. He was a plumber by trade. A Catholic by faith, he had been a resident of Monessen for most of his life. Mr Beres was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union No 354 of Youngwood. His wife Lena LEYDA BERES, died in June of 1984. A sister, Ann, and two brothers, George and Frank , are also deceased. Surviving are one sister, Margaret WARSHECK of Monessen; a brother, John BERES in California; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Robert A Billick Funeral Home, Inc, Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. BELLICINI Clotilde BRUNELLA BELLICINI of 1229 Fourth St, Monongahela, died Thursday, Oct 27, 1988, in Presbyterian-University Hospital, Pittsburgh, after being struck by a vehicle in Monongahela. She was 75. Mrs BELLICINI was born May 25, 1913, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Anthony and Maria BEVERINA BRUNELLA. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Monongahela, and the Grace Lutheran Quilters Club. She was a member and served for 23 years as treasurer of the Mon Valley White Shrine. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 108, and was a 25-year member of the Auxiliary to Mon Valley Health Resources, Inc of Mon Valley Hospital. Mrs BELLICINI was a member of the Monongahela Senior Center Activity Club and Mon Valley Local Five Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the Mon Valley YMCA. Survivors include her husband, Andre A BELLICINI; a daughter, Michelle BELLICINI SWEENEY of Monongahela; three sons, John A BELLICINI of Monongahela, Pierre A BELLICINI of Erie and Andre A BELLICINI of Peters Township; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis BRUNELLA of Arizona and Joseph BRUNELLA of California; and one sister, Aideladia SCHEMLOFF of Arizona. A daughter, Norine BELLICINI KEDDEL, is deceased. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the LM Frye Funeral Home, 427 West Main St, Monongahela. Burial will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
