SMITH, SAWHILL, BURWELL, MORTIMER, SMITH, BURKE Loretta SMITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick SMITH died at the home of her parents in Barr street Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Age 9 years. Scarlet fever was the cause of her death. Interment will be made at Noblestown on Saturday. Ethel SAWHILL, 5 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank SAWHILL died Wednesday morning at 6:30 o'clock at her home in McDonald street. Pneumonia was the cause of death. She had been ill for several weeks, pneumonia following an attack of chickenpox. Besides the parents three sisters and one brother survive. Funeral services in charge of the Rev. J. B. CAVITT were held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home. Interment was in the Robinson Run cemetery. Mrs. Lillian BURWELL, wife of Herbert BURWELL, died Sunday evening at her home in Liberty street. She was aged 18 years. Her death was due to a goiter. Mr. and Mrs. BURWELL moved from Zanesville to McDonald about two years ago, Mr. BURWELL being employed at the McDonald Steam Laundry where his father is the proprietor. Mrs. BURWELL was married at the age of 16 years in Zanesville. The funeral services were held Monday evening at the home at 7:30 o'clock in charge of the Rev J. B. CAVITT. Interment was made in Zanesville Tuesday afternoon. Ethel MORTIMER died Thursday at the Allegheny General Hospital from the effects of an operation. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at her home. Services were conducted by Rev. MOSSER, Dr. MCJUNKIN and Rev. MCMUNN. Interment in the Oakdale cemetery. She is survived by her father and a sister, Mrs. W. J. MCGILL, Jr. *Oakdale column Mrs. Grace WATSON SMITH, formerly of Oakdale died at her home in Pittsburgh. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon. Misses Audrey M. KENSINGER and Mary J. HOGAN attended the funeral of Mr. BURKE of Midway.
