(Elizabeth W.) Geeting, 88, of 508 West Main Street, Ligonier died Tuesday, August 12, 1975 in the Latrobe Area Hospital. Mrs. Geeting was born March 22, 1887 in Ligonier Township, a daughter of William and Susan (Carnes) Welshonsce. She was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church, Circle number 3 of the church and Fort Ligonier Chapter 349, Order of Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, and a daughter, Mrs. Dallas (Betty) Moore, she is survived by a son, Charles E. Geeting of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Owen Wolford Funeral Home, East Main Street, Ligonier from 3-5 and 7-9 today and Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Friday at 10 a.m. with Dr. William Daugherty in charge. Private interment will follow in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery. ____________________________________________
