    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: McKlveen, McDowell Classification: Biography Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2dB.2ACI/2654 Message Board Post: The Ligonier, PA "Echo" issue of 23 November 1898, p. 1, col. 5 Horse Taken. John E. McKlveen, who lives one mile east of town, hitched his horse at Marker's store Monday evening for a short time. About 9 o'clock he went for horse to go home but the horse was gone and he did not succeed in finding it until yesterday forenoon. The horse was standing in Ed McDowell's yard in the morning when he got up. The horse was evidently taken and ridden by a man wanting to go home and then turned loose and had come back as far as McDowell's. There are suspicions resting on a certain party who was in town and disappeared about the time the horse was missed. __________________________________________________
