Roberts Lewis Roy Roberts, 85, of Ligonier, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1986, at the Audubon Villa Nursing Home, Lititz. He was born Jan. 21, 1901, in Ligonier, a son of the late John and Margaret (Kuhns) Roberts. Before his retirement, he had been employed by Allegheny Ludlum Steel. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Ligonier, Ligonier Lodge 331 F&AM, Pittsburgh Consistory and Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Mowry) Roberts. He is survived by a daughter, Yvonne (Mrs. George) Heffran of Lititz; two sisters, Marie Roberts of Ligonier and Dorothy Robb of Texas; two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, at the Wolford-McCracken Funeral Home Inc., Ligonier, with the Rev. John J. McClure officiating.
