Geeting Amy W. Geeting, 96, of Ligonier, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1992, at Bethlen Home, Ligonier Township. She was born Oct. 27, 1895, in Loyalhanna, daughter of the late Arthur and Anne Savage Watson. She was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church, Ligonier. She was a charter member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 267 and a member of Fort Ligonier Chapter 349 of the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Geeting in 1965; two brothers, Arthur and George Watson, and three sisters, Ann Watson, Harriet Hall, and Edith Stewart. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Louise Carlson of Richmond, Va.; a son, Milton Robert Geeting of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Ligonier, where services were held today (Wednesday) in the chapel, with the Rev. Donald F. Cook officiating. The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary 267 held services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage United Methodist Church, Ligonier. Helen H.
