    3. CHAMBERS, GARDINER, SAUNDERS Mrs. Estella CHAMBERS died Monday, November 22, 1943, in her home in Moundsville, W.Va. Mrs. Lawrence WINTER of the Steubenville pike, formerly of McDonald, is a daughter. George GARDINER, 55, died suddenly at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 1943, in his home, Home street, McDonald. A son of the late Joseph and Mary Ann GARDINER, he was born March 24, 1888, in England. He came to the United States about forty years ago and had resided in the McDonald vicinity since. He is survived by is wife, Mrs. Maude COOPER GARDINER; one daughter, Mrs. Andrew EILER of McDonald; two brothers, James and Joseph GARDINER, both of McDonald; and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas BENNETT, SR., of Sturgeon and Mrs. Marcel BOUCHON of Imperial. There is one grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the home conducted by the Rev. S. A. MCCOLLAM, D. D., pastor of the first U. P. church. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Mrs. Mary A. MYERS SAUNDERS, 62, of Rea, formerly of Oakdale, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 1943, in the Canonsburg hospital, following a five-week illness. She is survived by her husband, L. D. SAUNDERS of Rea; four daughters: Mrs. William GRIMES of Steubenville, Ohio, Mrs. George RAMSEY of Houston, Mrs. Catherine SCOTT of Washington, and Mrs. Charles FICHTER of Oakdale; two sons: Joseph BROWN of R. D. 1, Rea, and Pfc. Michael MYERS stationed at Camp Butner, N. C. There are 21 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. this Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. RAMSEY, 25 Cummins avenue, Houston. Burial will be in Mt. Prospect cemetery, Hickory.
