    2. Victoria Hospodar Valentine
    3. Early Sunday morning the body of a man who later proved to be James NORRIS, was found along the Panhandle railroad tracks between McDonald and Jumbo. When discovered, NORRIS was dead, having suffered death from an ugly scalp wound. The discovery was made by Pat HAHN, who was walking along the track when he saw the body of a man lying about six feet from the tracks. The body was picked up and removed to McDonald where the remains were identified as those of NORRIS, a miner employed at the Jumbo mines. It is thought that NORRIS was sitting by the track and was struck by the cylinder of a locomotive and instantly killed. He was aged about 30 years. His mother, who resides in Illinois, survives him. Mr. NORRIS was a member of the colored lodge, I. O. O. F. of McDonald which took charge of the remains and conducted the funeral Monday afternoon. Interment at Robb's cemetery. *This cemetery is also known as Hilldale.
