    3. HARRIS, HAYS, SOULERET, PARKS, GILMORE On Friday night, Jan. 12, infant child of Daniel HARRIS on Barr street. Burial at Hilldale cemetery. Mrs. Mary HAYS, aged 56 years, of Jumbo, died Thursday morning Jan. 18, 1906. Mrs. HAYS has lived in McDonald for many years and was well known by many of our citizens. She is survived by her husband, Patrick HAYS, three sons and five daughters. The funeral will be conducted from St. Alphonsus' church Saturday morning, January 20, at eight o'clock. The remains will be taken to Noblestown for interment on the 9:21 train. Morris SOULERET, fifty-six years of age, died at Woodville On Saturday evening, Jan. 13, 1906. The funeral was conducted from the home of his brother, Charles SOULERET, on Fanny street, Monday at two p.m., Revs. JORDAN and IRONS conducting the services. The funeral was in charge of Waverly Lodge No. 145, K. P., of McDonald, of which Mr. SOULERET was a useful and esteemed member. A large attendance of friends and brother Knights followed the remains to Arlington cemetery where they were interred according to the beautiful ceremonies of the K. P. order. One of the saddest accidents that has occurred in this vicinity in years happened on last Saturday evening near Cecil. Miss Mary PARKS, aged 21 years, daughter of John PARKS, of South Fayette township, left her father's home to go to Traveskyn to attend a revival service in the Traveskyn mission. While walking along the track a short distance from Cecil she was struck by the Panhandle train which leaves Cecil at 6:20 p.m. The force of the train threw her some distance from the track crushing her skull and breading one leg and one arm. Her father, who was coming a short distance behind evidently passed the spot where his daughter was lying but a few minutes after she was struck. She was discovered by some miners and was still alive when found, but died while they were carrying her to the mission where her father had preceded them. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the residence of her parents and were conducted by Rev. J. P. JORDAN, assisted by Rev. CLELAND of Traveskyn. The remains were brought to Arlington cemetery. Her parents and two brothers survive. A. B. CHANDLER attended the funeral services of Charles M. GILMORE at Washington on Wednesday.
