Mr. McDowell was 67 years old, having been born on July 6, 1869 at Laughlintown. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma McDowell, two sons, Willis and Wallace, one daughter, Emmabelle, and one grandson. A sister in Seattle, Washington, also survives. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock in the Presbyterian Church in charge of Rev. D. Alan Martens. Interment was made in the Ligonier Valley cemetery. ___________________________________________
