Burns, 82, of Stahlstown R.D. 1, died Monday, May 12, 1980, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Ruth Wolk. Mrs. Burns was born Sept. 7, 1897, in Donegal Township, a daughter of the late L.K. and Emma (Sheets) Miller. She was a life-long resident of Donegal Township, and was a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren. She had been employed at the Pike Run Country Club. Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Burns, and a daughter, Mrs. Emogene Ohler. She is survived by a grandson and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Russell Miller of Springfield, Ohio; two step-sons, Lester Burns of Ligonier; and Robert Burns of Carlisle; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell of Stahlstown. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Melcroft, with the Rev. Kermit Jones officiating. Burial was in Donegal Cemetery.
