Unfortunately, my whole BLOOMQUIST/BLOOM family left Scottdale and were back in Pittsburgh by sometime in 1927. None of them stayed behind in Scottdale, and they're all 'accounted for' from 1927 onward. I called the Scottdale library some time ago, and it is my intention to get there in the near future. I believe they told me that they have older city directories there, but they could not tell me which years off-hand. So I'll have to go and check it out! In speaking with some of the area churches, I heard mention of that Bloom (Bluhm, or whatever) family that you cited. As far as I know, they are no relation. Thanks again, -=SteveB
