    2. The Valley Independent Monday, July 8, 1985 ARTUSO Rose RITTACCO ARTUSO of 1211 Country Club Road, Carroll Township, died Saturday, July 6, 1985, at her home. She was 77. Mrs ARTUSO was born Jan 7, 1908, in Italy. She had been co-owner of ARTUSO’S Shoe Store in Donora for 59 years. Survivors include her husband, Frank ARTUSO; a son, Joseph ARTUSO of Ligonier; a daughter, Mrs Ray (Philomena) WEST of Monongahela; seven grandchildren; one sister and three brothers. Burial will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park. SRNKA John SRNKA (SANKO) of Char-House, 251 Ninth St, Charleroi, died Sunday, July 7, 1985, at 3 30 am in Washington Hospital. He was 76. Mr SRNKA was born Nov 6, 1906, in Leckrone, Pa, a son of the late Martin and Anna KUKAN SRNKA. A resident of the mid-Mon Valley his entire life, Mr SRNKA was a member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Charleroi, and the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army. Mr SRNKA was a retired tailor from the David Israel Men’s Store in Charleroi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen. Survivors include his wife, Ann DEMCISK SRNKA; and one brother, Martin in Europe. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Carl J Spallino Funeral Home, 819 Fallowfield Ave, Charleroi. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery Mausoleum. MINNIEAR Walter H MINNIEAR of Greenville, Maine, formerly of the Roscoe area, died Sunday, July 7, 1985, in Greenville. He was 81. A complete obituary and funeral arrangements will be announced Tuesday by the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Home, Inc, 1008 Furlong Ave, Roscoe. CIEPIELA Helen CIEPIELA of Fellsburg, Belle Vernon RD 1, died at 9 30 pm Sunday, July 7, 1985, in her home. She was 66. Mrs CIEPIELA was born Aug 13, 1918, in Monessen, a daughter of the late Peter and Teresa PFEISTER EORY. Her husband, Charles CIEPIELA, died in 1964. Mrs CIEPIELA was a member of the Fells United Methodist Church, Fellsburg, and the Good Samaritan Club of the church. Surviving are one son, Charles E CIEPIELA of Belle Vernon RD 1; one daughter, Patricia SEMANCIK of Belle Vernon RD 4; four sisters, Mrs Teresa BASKO of Arizona, Mrs Margaret HARGER of Belle Vernon, Mrs Julia PERISCO of Monessen and Mrs Nicholas (Ethel) SPIRKO of Charleroi; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the James C Stump Funeral Home, Sweeney Plan, Rostraver Twp, Monday from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. ENGOGLIA James ENGOGLIA of 500 E Main St, Monongahela, died Sunday, July 7, 1985. He was 64. Mr ENGOGLIA was born June 24, 1921, in Monongahela, a son of the late Charles and Mary LUCINDO ENGOGLIA. He was a member of St Paul’s Episcopal Church, Monongahela. A US Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No 1409, Monongahela. Surviving are two brothers, Matthew of Buffalo, NY and Chester of Monongahela; and five sisters, Mrs Anna MORGANTE and Elizabeth ENGOGLIA, both of Buffalo, NY, Sally HOLLIS and Dorothy ENGOGLIA, both of Monongahela, and Mrs Mary EDMONDSON of New York City, NY. Friends will be received in the LM Frye Funeral Home Inc, 427 W Main St, Monongahela, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Burial will be in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela. NISHNICK Ollie Mandy NISHNICK of Franklin St, Cokesburg, died Saturday, July 6, 1985, at 8 33 pm in Washington Hospital. Mrs NISHNICK was 75. She was born June 29, 1910, in Campton, KY, a daughter of the late Jess and Frances TAULBEE ROSE. She was a member of Wesleyan Church in Bentleyville. Mrs NISHNICK is survived by three sons, Howard WILSON Jr of Cokesburg, Stanley WILSON of Bentleyville, and Truman NISHNICK of Washington; three daughters, Mary GRIMES of Pittsburgh, Myrtle GUTHRIE of Cokesburg, and Margie WILKS of Ellsworth; one sister, Piney GALWAY of Cokesburg; one brother, Chester ROSE of Washington; and ? grandchildren. Her husband, Frank NISHNICK, died Nov 27, 1979. A daughter, Frances WILSON; a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth WILSON; three brothers, and two sisters are also deceased. Friends are being received today from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St, Bentleyville.
