She was born Aug 7, 1883, in Sewickley Township, a daughter of the late John Boyd and Eliza Jane BENFORD NICHOLLS. She was a member of the Womens Missionary Society of the West Newton United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons, James Stanley PAINTER of Washington and Morris PAINTER of South Huntingdon Township; a daughter, Mrs Harry KEEFNER of Bridgeville; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. D.R. MCLAUGHLIN Daniel R MCLAUGHLIN, 60, a lifelong resident of Isabella, died at 10 05 am Sunday in Brownsville General Hospital, after a lingering illness. He was born Feb 1, 1906, at Mount Braddock, and was a retired employe of Isabella Mine of the National Mine Corp. During World War II he served as staff sergeant in Company 1, 271st Infantry. Surviving are a brother, Perce of Mount Braddock, and a sister, Mrs Pauline SIDWELL of Filbert. J.C TATE John C TATE, 96, of Uniontown, died Sunday evening. He was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church and John Knox Bible Class of Uniontown. Surviving are three daughters, including Mrs Wallace (Violet) MOSER and Miss Ruth TATE of Uniontown; two sons, eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice, in January 1961. MRS EDNA ROUSH Mrs Edna V ROUSH, 72, of Uniontown, died unexpectedly at 11 am Sunday. She was a member of the Central Christian Church and the Bethany Class. Surviving are a son, Walter GUTHRIE of Farmington; two daughters and a brother, Ralph SULLIVAN of Coolspring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene ROUSH, and a son, Russell GUTHRIE. DR B.K. CROW Dr Benjamin K CROW, 89, of Point Marion, died Sunday in the Shalley Convalescent Home, Youngstown, Ohio. A retired dentist, he practiced for 50 years in Point Marion before his retirement. A member of the United Trinity Methodist Church of Point Marion, he was a Sunday school teacher for many years, and a charter member and honorary member of Point Marion Rotary Club. Surviving are his widow, Mary, a son, two grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs Carrie ROBINSON of Smithfield and Mrs Lucy GRIFFIN of Vanderbilt. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs Alice RICHARDS CROW, in 1950 and three brothers, Jesse, Charles and Ira. D. R WOODWARD Donald R WOODWARD, 56, of Masontown, died Saturday in Presbyterian-University Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was a member and former trustee of the Masontown Brethren Church and a member of the mens Sunday school class. An employe of Homestead Works of US Steel Corp, he was a member of USW Local No 1397. Surviving are his widow, Mrs Marie TINTI WOODWARD; three sons, two grandchildren; his parents, Mr and Mrs EF WOODWARD of Grindstone; three brothers, including Paul of Uniontown RD and six sisters, including Mrs Chester (Jane) WALTERS of Grindstone and Mrs John (Dolores) REUROVICH of Uniontown. MRS EL PACIOREK Mrs Rosemary BURACK WOOD PACIOREK, 37, of Woodbridge, Va, died at 5 am in George Washington University, Washington DC. She was a member of Holy Family RC Church of Greensboro. Surviving are her husband, Edward L; a daughter; her parents, Kathryn and Charles F BURACK of Bobtown; two brothers; two sisters, including Mrs Alfred (Grace) MOHR of Waynesburg, and her grandmothers, Mrs Stella BURACK of Salisbury and Antonio PACIOREK of Elmira, NY. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol WOOD, in 1967, and a stepson, Robert PACIOREK, in 1967. MRS OSCAR ENGLE Mrs Nellie M ENGLE, 72, of McClellandtown, died Sunday in Connellsville State General Hospital. She was born April 26, 1896, in New Stanton, a daughter of the late Lemmick and Emma SILMAN FOX. Surviving are her husband, Oscar; four daughters, including Mrs Robert ZARYSKY of Uniontown and Mrs Paul (Almira) SHENEL of McClellandtown; two sons, including Grover of Uniontown; 17 grandchildren and two brothers, including Thomas FOX of New Stanton. JOSEPH LOVASIC Joseph LOVASIC, 81, of West Brownsville, died at 8 50 am Sunday in Brownsville General Hospital after a brief illness. He had lived in the Brownsville area for 43 years, and had operated his own tin shop for many years. He was born March 21, 1887, in Yugoslavia, a son of the late Vince and Mary BRUCHE LOVASIC. He was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge No 307, of West Brownsville. Surviving are his widow, Anna; two sons, Joseph of Glassport and Steve of Belle Vernon; a daughter, Mrs Helen HADDON, at home, and seven grandchildren. MRS J KOTARKSY Mrs Maria (MUTNANSKY) KOTARSKY, 82, of Gates Hill, died Sunday in Uniontown Hospital. She was a member of St Marys RC Church of Gates, the Rosary Society and the Jednota Lodge. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; seven daughters, including Mrs Joseph (Agnes) ZATLOKOVICZ of Gates, Mrs Thomas (Cecelia) TORREY of Thompson No 1, and Mrs William (Catherine) BRYAN of Masontown; six sons, including Joseph KOTARKSY of Masontown, John MUTNANSKY of Washington, Pa, and Thomas KOTARKSY of Marianna; 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. MRS HARRY ZARONI Mrs Mary ZARONI, 69, of Brownsville, died Saturday in Brownsville General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 16, 1899, in Italy, a daughter of the late Modesto and Angeline DOLFI ARCANGELI, and was a member of St Peters RC Church of Brownsville and the Alter and Rosary Societies. Surviving are her husband, Harry; four daughters, including Miranda at home and Mrs William KELLY and Mrs Edward KELLY of Brownsville; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother, Allan ANGELO of Brownsville. C S ARMBRUST Charles S ARMBRUST, 69, of Youngwood, formerly of Armbrust, died Sunday evening in the Belaire Nursing Home, Lower Burrell. He was a retired empolye of West Penn Power Co.
