The Valley Independent Tuesday, September 16, 1980 GEORGE P PUSHIC, SR (BOBBY DALE) The founder and leader of well-known Bobby Dale orchestra, George P PUSHIC Sr, 68, died Monday in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Mr PUSHIC who lived at 1149 Skyline Drive, Greensburg, founded and led the Bobby Dale Orchestra, which played for many dances and achieved popularity among many Valley dancers. He was born Nov 29, 1911, in Crabtree, son of the late Joseph and Anna MIKAN PUSHIC. He was a member of the St Bartholomew Catholic Church of Crabtree. Preceding him in death was his wife, Mamie VECCHIO PUSHIC; two brothers, Frank and Paul R PUSHIC; and a sister, Mrs Rose MILLER. Surviving are two sons, George A Jr of Crabtree and Robert L of Greensburg; four brothers, Joseph and John PUSHIC of Crabtree, Nick of Cleveland and Michael of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. ANNA BELLE HAYWOOD Anna Belle HAYWOOD of 103 Bull Run Rd, Brownsville, died yesterday in the South Hills Convalescent Center, Canonsburg, Pa. She was 72. Mrs HAYWOOD was a member of the South Brownsville Methodist Church, the Sussannah Wesleyan Class, the Golden Age Group and Senior Citizens Club, both of Brownsville; the Brownsville Garden Club, and the Penn State Home Economic Extension. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur HAYWOOD, Sr. Survivors include one son, Arthur HAYWOOD, Jr of Tallahassee, Fla; two daughters, Mrs Shirley MATTEY of Brownsville and Mrs Nancy EDDY of Rodgersville, Pa; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs Margy PETROS of Clarksville, Pa, Mrs Kathryn FATTORI and Miss Betty BURICH, both of Republic, Pa; Mrs Ellen WYLES of Keisterville, Pa, Mrs Dorothy Halo of New Salem, Pa, Mrs June WALTERS of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs Bertha MASLANICH of Vineland, NJ; two brothers, Edward BURICH of Winston-Salem, NC, and James BURICH of Clarksville, Pa; a great-uncle, Arthur DAVID, of Cardale, Pa; a great-aunt, Maria SAVAGE, of Uniontown, Pa; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. KENNETH A CRAGO Kenneth A CRAGO of Scenery Hill RD 1 died unexpectedly at 2 30 pm yesterday in Washington Hospital. He was 60. Mr CRAGO was born March 10, 1920, in Bentleyvillew, a son of the late Emmanuel and Alice SAUTERS CRAGO. He was employed for Equitable Gas Company at Division D in Ginger Hill He belonged to Memory Chapel in Vanceville, where he served as treasurer for the past year and a half. A veteran of World War II, he served in the US Coast Guard. Mr CRAGO was a member of the Ellsworth Sportsmens Club and the National Rifle Association. He was a Scenery Hill resident for 13 years. He formerly lived in the Eighty-four area. On July 4, 1941, he married the former Rosella KERR, who survives, along with two daughters, Linda C CRAGO of Glenshaw and Patricia J CRAGO of Coral Springs, Fla. Mr CRAGO was the last of his immediate family. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were two brothers, Russell CRAGO and Clifford S CRAGO. ELLSWORTH BUTTERMORE Ellsworth (Boozle) BUTTERMORE of Perryopolis died yesterday at 8 45 am at his home. He was 65. Mr BUTTERMORE was born Oct 6, 1914, in Perryopolis, a son of the late James and Elizabeth WILKES BUTTERMORE. He was a retired employee of the Union Railroad. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr BUTTERMORE was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Gold Star Post 7023 of Perryopolis and the Star Junction Fish and Game Club. Survivors include his widow, Hilda; one son, Curtis BUTTERMORE of Perryopolis; one daughter, Mrs CJ (Carolyn) BROWN of Perryopolis RD 1; one grandson; one brother, Wayne BUTTERMORE of Youngwood, and seven sisters, Mrs Martha FRANCIS of Port Orange, Fla, Mrs Odessa THOMPSON of Perryopolis, Mrs John (Erma) BACKHOFER of Perryopolis , Mrs Paul (Geneva) ERISMAN of Sanford, Fla, Mrs William (Gertrude) MILLER of New Castle, Ind, Mrs Joseph (Betty) BUTTERMORE of Detroit, Mich, and Mrs Ann ALLISON of Perryopolis. Mr BUTTERMORE was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jo BUTTERMORE, on July 22, 1968. JOSEPH KOSKOSKI Joseph KOSKOSKI of Finleyville RD 2 died yesterday in Canonsburg Hospital. He was born in Donora, a son of the late Paul and Mary PINCHA KOSKOSKI. He was a crane operator for the former US Steel Corp. Donora Works. Mr KOSKOSKI was a member of the St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Finleyville. He is survived by his widow, Mary PARISH KOSKOSKI; one daughter, Elizabeth A MORGAN of McMurray; three brothers, Paul KOSKOSKI, Mike KOSKOSKI, and William KOSKOSKI, all of Donora, and two grandchildren, Kimberly Jean MORGAN and William R MORGAN IV. Four brothers, Peter, George, Steve and John KOSKOSKI, are deceased.
