DIAMOND, GEORGE, WACKER, OGDEN James S. DIAMOND, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. James S. DIAMOND of Noblestown, died on Friday morning at 4:45 o'clock. Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. RITCHIE, pastor of the U. P. church of Noblestown. Interment was in the Robinson's Run cemetery. Mrs. A. Emma GEORGE, of Midway, died on Wednesday evening, August 11, 1920, after a short illness. She was a resident of the Primrose section for a number of years. From there, with her husband they located in Midway, Pa. Mr. GEORGE died 15 years ago. She is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Bertha BAKER, wife of Robert L. BAKER of Beaver, Pa. Funeral services were held at the home of Robert DICKSON of Midway last Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment was in Center cemetery. Roy Miller WACKER died at his home on Saturday evening, July 24th, 1920, about 5:30 o'clock, of burns received when a playmate and Roy, on Friday evening attempted to fill a pit lamp with crude oil, from a jug, while the lamp was lighted. The jug exploded throwing the burning oil over Roy's body and burning him severely. Medical aid was received but not much could be done for the child. Roy was born at Carnegie, Pa., December 23, 1910, and was the third child to Mr. and Mrs. George WACKER, of Western avenue, Oakdale. The family just moved to Oakdale from Sheridan on the 26th of last April. Roy was a very lovable child, always pleasant and had a wonderful disposition. The short time of his live in Oakdale Roy mad a large circle of friends, who will greatly miss him. He leaves his mother and father, also two sisters and two brothers, besides a large circle of friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at his home on Western avenue, conducted by the Rev. A. E. F. DITTNER of the Lutheran church of Carnegie. Interment was made in the Oakdale cemetery. *Oakdale column L. Wayman OGDEN, a cousin of Rev. W. P. VARNER, pastor of the M. E. church, was killed in an automobile accident last Thursday, when the car, containing L. W. OGDEN and Mr. and Mrs. DUNKAN, skidded on a slippery road on a sharp curve about five miles from Morgantown. The car turned over four times killing Mr. OGDEN, seriously injuring Mrs. DUNKAN and breaking Mr. DUNKAN's jaw. Mr. OGDEN was forty-seven years old and was superintendent of the Harrison County schools in W. Va. *Noblestown column
