BERGER, DOEHRE, LYNCH, BURNS Mrs. Amelia BERGER, wife of Leon BERGER, and a well known resident of this place, died at 7 o'clock Saturday evening at the home of her niece, Mrs. J. B. ROBERTS. She was 80 years of age. The funeral services were held in the First Presbyterian church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. J. P. JORDAN. Interment was in the Robinson Run cemetery. Mrs. BERGER was born in Belgium and came to this country more than 28 years ago. She was married some years prior to her coming to this country and she and Mr. BERGER came directly to McDonald where they made their home. She was a member and conscientious worker of the Presbyterian church. She leaves her husband. There are no children. Mrs. Caroline M. DOEHRE, of Carrick, died shortly before midnight, Thursday night at the West Penn hospital, Pittsburgh. she was 58 years of age. Mrs. DOEHRE was well known in this vicinity. Funeral services were held at her late home in Linwood street, Carrick, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The remains were brought to Midway Sunday and further services were held at the home of a daughter Mrs. George LEIPOLD, of this place Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Interment was in the Center cemetery. The death of Miss Malissa LYNCH, aged 17 years, occurred Monday evening, August 8, 1915, at the home of her cousin, Mary CHILTON, in Pittsburgh, where she was visiting when taken ill. Death came after a three days' illness of typhoid pneumonia. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee LYNCH, well-known colored residents of Valley street. The body was brought to the home here Tuesday. The young girl was born in McDonald March 18, 1898. She was a member of the sophomore class of McDonald high school. Besides the parents there survive three sisters, Bessie, Mildred and Vina and one brother, Arnold. Funeral services wee held Thursday in charge of the Rev. G. E. SALLIE, pastor of the First Baptist church of McDonald of which the girl was a member. Interment was made in Robinsons Run cemetery. John BURNS died on Thursday evening at 10:30 at his home. Funeral services will be held at the home on Saturday at 2 o'clock. Mr. BURNS is survived by his wife.
