>From the Pittsburgh Gazette Times dated March 23 1912: Washington, Pa., March 22 - (Special) - JAMES CLARK McCLEARY, aged 73, died at his home in Claysville, this county, this afternoon. He was the son of W L McCLEARY, who drove a stage on the old National road. He served in the Civil War as a member of Company K, First West Virginia Cavalry, and was a member of the Baptist church and the G A R. He served four years as councilman in Claysville.
