>From the Pittsburgh Press dated December 31 1898: At a meeting of officers and employees of the Pittsburg postoffice held yesterday, the following tribute on the death of Miss NANNIE M JOHNSTON, superintendent of the registry division, was unanimously adopted: "We have learned with deep regret of the death of Miss NANNIE M JOHNSTON. She was one of the oldest employees in this office, having served in various positions for more than 20 years, and by her integrity and strict discharge of duty held the confidence and esteem of all who were associated with her in the service. A consistent life and faithfulness in the performance of duty are worthy of remembrance, and we willingly pay this tribute to the life of our late associate, Miss NANNIE M JOHNSTON." _________________________________________________________________ Use your PC to make calls at very low rates https://voiceoam.pcs.v2s.live.com/partnerredirect.aspx
