    3. GOSHORN, GARROU, HICKS, COUSINS, MCGRADY, KENDALL Miss Isabel CAMPBELL of Fourth street attended the funeral of her cousin, Sarah GOSHORN, near Beaver on Tuesday. Word of the death of the Rev. Henry GARROU reached McDonald this Thursday when John B. MASQUELIER received a post card from Mrs. GARROU with the sad intelligence. The card was dated at Perrero, Turin, Italy, May 16th, and no details were given. The editor of the Record had a letter from Mr. GARROU about two months ago and he then was in good health, but appeared to be depressed because he thought Italy was rapidly drifting into war. Mr. GARROU was a broad minded, well educated, Christian gentleman, and he had many friends here, who learned to know and value him while he was pastor of the French Church of McDonald. He leaves a wife and four children. Thelma Winfred HICKS, aged three years, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles HICKS of Primrose, died Saturday morning, May 22d, at the home of her parents. Death was due to membranous croup and came after an illness of but a few days. The little girl's mother, before her marriage, was Miss Flora CHOFF, a member of a well-known Primrose family. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Mr. MILLER, pastor of the Center United Presbyterian church of Midway. Interment in Center cemetery, Midway. ____a, seven-year-old daughter of William and Laura COUSINS of near Oakdale, died suddenly of Friday, May 21st. Death was due to valvular heart trouble. Besides the parents eight sisters survive. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday. Interment was made in Robinson's Run cemetery. Thomas MCGRADY attended the funeral of his mother in Ohio last Saturday. *Noblestown column Mrs. KENDALL and daughter of Glassport attended the funeral of the former's granddaughter, Mary Ellen KENDALL, on Sunday.
