    1. [PA-SW-OBITS] Harvey Johnston Obit & Funeral Notice 1891
    2. M Little
    3. (The first article was found in the Pittsburgh Press dated Friday, March 27 1891. Although the surname is spelt as JOHNSON throughout this article, the person in question is HARVEY JOHNSTON.) Demise of Harvey Johnson, a Well-Known Resident of Wilkinsburg HARVEY JOHNSON of Wilkinsburg, son of the well-known usher at the union station, and brother of Assistant Station Master JOSEPH JOHNSON, died suddenly about 8 o'clock this morning. Mr JOHNSON had long been a sufferer from consumption. The malady first made its appearance about 18 months ago, and last summer, thinking a change of climate might prove beneficial, Mr JOHNSON went to Denver, Col. He returned from that point about two months ago, in a very weak and exhausted condition. Shortly after he returned he began to gain strength and felt much better and hopes were entertained for his recovery. He was apparently feeling well this morning when his father and brother left him, and his death so soon afterward was unexpected. Mr JOHNSON was well known in Wilkinsburg and had a host of friends who will sincerely regret his sudden demise. He was single and about 25 years of age. ~*~*~*~*~*~ The funeral services over the remains of the late HARVEY JOHNSTON, whose death from consumption was chronicled in yesterday's PRESS, will be held at the family residence, Penn avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock, Rev Moore of the Presbyterian church, officiating. The services will no doubt be largely attended by the friends of the deceased, who was quite popular. The pallbearers are J Matthews, John McMahon, Wm Scott, Thos Kennedy, George Patterson and Conductor Morrison of the Pullman company. The remains will be interred in the Homewood cemetery. (The preceding article was found in the Pittsburgh Press dated Saturday, March 28 1891. Harvey is the son of George Johnston Jr and Margaret Elder of Wilkinsburg.) _________________________________________________________________ Stay in touch with old friends and meet new ones with Windows Live Spaces http://clk.atdmt.com/MSN/go/msnnkwsp0070000001msn/direct/01/?href=http://spaces.live.com/spacesapi.aspx?wx_action=create&wx_url=/friends.aspx&mkt=en-us
