Surnames: BLOOM, BLUHM Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2dB.2ACI/2644.1 Message Board Post: hi! I live in Scottdale, Pa, which is a very, very, very small town. My husband has lived here most of his life and is familiar with the name Bloom, although he has seen it spelled differently. I know you want OLD listings, but for now, this is what's in our local Scottdale directory, which may help. Christie Bloom, 19 School Street, Pa...724-806-0105. That's all that's listed in our current directory although more and more people use unlisted #'s now. The spelling my husband is familiar with is Bluhm. They are Fred Bluhm, 818 Parker Avenue, Scottdale, Pa, 15683...724-887-8285, also John A. Bluhm, 700 Parker Avenue, Scottdale, Pa, 15683...724-887-5925. That's it for our little burg of Scottdale, but it wouldn't hurt to check out the Scottdale library. They're very nice and helpful there although you'll have to wait until after Sunday, I'm sure. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Happy Thanksgiving!! Sandie in Scottdale, Pa

I have reason to believe they lived in Westmoreland Co., PA in the early 1800's. I would be happy to hear from anyone who believes they connect to this family.
