    2. I don't make a practice of recommending specific sources, but I was recently tipped off to a new one (to me) that has actually provided me with several new pieces of information and useful contacts. I would like to pass this one on for anyone who may not be familiar with it. The website is http://www.gencircles.com/ Welcome to GenCircles! If you haven't already tried it, I suggest you check it out. It is a free site, you can do a search for individuals. But the best part is it offers what it calls "smartmatching." You can submit a GEDCOM, with you making the decisions as to what will be shown. For example, you can set it to show no notes or sources if you wish. It then matches it against every other GEDCOM anyone submitted and gives you a menu listing to select from. The menu lists every one of your names that has a match in someone else's submission, and will show you the two side by side. I have found and contacted over twenty other new researchers so far that link to the same individuals I am researching. Bottom line, it is worth your looking at. 3. Patrick - I have been storing things at GenCircles and have made some progess with my Scottish family lines. I love the service. Convert my FTM files over to GEDCOM run that through GEDMARK and then up load that final GEDCOM to Gencircles...I have also found a few folks working on my wife's lines that really have helped me untangle a few knots in our files.
