Thanks, Karen, for trying. Yes, I have been to the Ellis Island site where I have found my grandmother's younger sister who arrived in 1900. I have also seen the Antonina Karczewska who arrived in 1912, but that is not 'my' Antonina. I guess I shall have to keep looking. I appreciate your effort. Judi
