Hello Carol, Use the Google search engine and enter the following ; surname+nee also try this +surname+nee-(nee) leave no spaces between the plus and minus signs and the words. What you are doing is saying I want you to find all the all the info on the surname Nee. In the second example you are saying find all the surname nee but exclude (nee) as a maiden name. In the 2nd example you get the 1st 9 with the Nee surname then go to the 2nd set ( 11 - 20) there is a ' Genealogy Register Nee Genealogy site'. I didn't look any further , but play with it. I find looking beyond the first 20 or 30 hits I usually find something I am looking for. Also play with how you search in a search engine for example try looking for a time period in a state example ; New York City 1890-1940 ; or ; +churches+new york 1920 ' try different ways to search. In genealogy searches try Hunter+genealogy you can also add + and the state you need i.e. Hunter+genealogy+new york now you will mostly get Hunters in NY state. One more neat thing you should do with Google is open your searches on the word (cached) below the main line. When you do this they high light your search words and you can easily find what you need.
