    3. In what part of Pittsburgh is 934 Beech Ave located ca. 1950? I looked on a list of city streets but all I saw were Beech Bottom. Can anyone clarify? THANKS, Carol

It's still in the same place that it was c1950. Beech Bottom? That's a small village in Belmont Co., Ohio. There is no such street in Pgh. I would love to know where you saw that street on a map. 934 Beech Ave. is located in the old borough of Manchester that is now known as the tony neighborhood of Allegheny West. Giving you something that you may be familiar with, it's between the north end of the West End Bridge and West Park.
