Wondering if there was a predominate newspaper for the South Side neighborhoods in 1885 that would have carried information regarding the 74th PA Survivor's Association? Looking at a document I received a copy of, the Association formed on 17 Aug 1885 and was active for many years. The President was Gustav Schleiter, a prominent businessman. My thought is that they may have posted a notice of their meeting in a local newspaper and so on a hunch I am trying to find out what papers would have served the South Side during that year. Thanks in advance. Efforts are for the 74th website. http://www.olypen.com/tinkers/74th%20Pennsylvania/Webpage/default.htm Rod Fleck Sent from Forks, Washington
