This evening I finally got to update the website for the 74th PA Vol's website. http://www.olypen.com/tinkers/74th%20Pennsylvania/Webpage/ Updates include: * Poetry about Schimmelfennig in the Amusing and Odd * Finally got to do a report on the Battle of Freeman's Ford with a lot of help from Bret then and today (THANK YOU) * Update on artwork from Gary Casteel that is now available (monument replica (pecan resin or stone) and also the new art print of the 74th Monument) * Regular changes made to addresses and such * We are now at 50 researchers associated with the site in some fashion, although a few e-mails are now problematic and I have had no updates from this folks... * Rockets of Company G now has two parts - the orginal explanation and then Bret and I got contacted by the Rocketman and what an amazing collection he has....that is Part 2 Remember there is a search engine on the site that can be used to find names and such. Things on the "to do" list -- 74th gear and stuff -- this would be a store link that would be created with www.cafepress.com -- I just need to figure out the design requirements. Proceeds would go first to the Gen. Bohlen marker needed near Freeman's Ford. Then we have our ancestor's battle flag that needs conserving, and then... ;-) So, hope all are doing well. Take care and best wishes. Rod Fleck 74th PA Vol. Inf. Sent from Forks, Washington
