    3. Hello, Thanks for the responses. I have now learned that the Sts. Peter and Paul Church in E. Liberty was indeed a 'German' Roman Catholic Church. There is a short history of the church on the Historic Pittsburgh website, where I was able to find my gg grandfather's name as a Financial Secretary of the church. Also, I have been able to obtain some information on marriages and baptisms from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Still looking to find someone with knowledge of the people who were the sponsors or witnesses to the Geisler baptisms and marriages. 3. Hi Tomi, I don't know if this would be anyone in your family but I have information from a marriage form from the Diocese of Pittsburgh that a Joannes Geissler was a witness to the marriage of Leonard Schuck to Mary Schutz. Do you know anything about Joannes Geissler? Thank You, Sue -----Original Message----- From: pa-pittsburgh-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:pa-pittsburgh-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Tomi Larson Sent: Saturday, October 20, 2007 9:35 AM To: pa-pittsburgh@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PA-PITTSBURGH] E.
