OBSERVER & REPORTER 7 / 17 / 2007 Washington, Pa. Kay Morris Russian Orthodox "Old Believers" Church member Kay "Kayka" Morris, 85, of Marianna, beloved wife and mother, died Monday, July 16, 2007. She was born March 7, 1922, in Marianna, a daughter of Kuzma and Martha Boiaroff. Mrs. Morris graduated from West Bethlehem High School in 1941 and worked for a time in Detroit, Mich., as a parachute inspector. She returned to Marianna after her marriage to John G. Morris, who is deceased. Mrs. Morris was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox "Old Believers" Church of Marianna and had served as an officer in the ladies auxiliary. She was a wonderful housekeeper, an avid bingo and slot machine player and enjoyed gardening and yard work. Surviving are a daughter, Martha Burr of McMurray; three brothers, Michael Boiaroff of Washington, Wasil Boiaroff of Detroit and Harry Boiaroff of Marianna; three sisters, Katherine Peterson of Marianna, Nellie Niverth of Jefferson and Fedora Stoskel of Washington; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Mary Klimushyn and Priscilla Early; and a son in-law, Ronald Burr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 19, in St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox "Old Believer's" Church, Marianna.
