Al, Your reply did not get through to me but I did manage to read it at the server so this seems to be a 2 way problem. I have been having a lot of difficulty recently with numerous emails getting stuck somewhere between my server and me and blocking receipt of all others. My purpose in emailing you was to thank you for giving me a contact name at Allegheny County Records Center. Don Kreiger came back to me as a result of my first email to the list and said that he would make some phone calls on my behalf. If Don does not manage to get anywhere with this I will contact Bob Seeburger as you suggest. Don also suggested that if the jail records I am interested in still exist they will be in the Carnegie Library. I am already waiting to hear from them about newspaper reports of the case.
