I have an interest in a case of bigamy that was heard in a Pittsburgh court in 1909. This was a preliminary hearing that never came to trial. Can anyone tell me if this would be classed as a civil or criminal matter? Are transcripts of such proceedings available to members of the public? If so, where can these be obtained from?
