    3. Al, There once was a Post Office there, BAYNE, named after Senator Bayne. There also was a blacksmith shop there that lasted until 1927 when Big Sewickley Creek was paved.     3. Mac, That explains why I never heard of the village named Bayne nor the post office; I never heard of Senator Bayne. And you're giving your age away when you remember some blacksmith who lost or moved his shop before 1927. Hell, I'm kind of a blank on anything before 1967.
