Hi Tomi, There are several Guyton's in the 1900 City Directory, some in Allegheny and some in Pittsburgh: http://www.evendon.net/PGHLookups/cgi-bin/HandOff-1_0.cgi?PGH1900CD+PghAlleg +0534 The name (R. H. Guyton) also appears in our Carnegie Institute Alumni Directory (1928) as a member of the Class of 1925 "now" living in Asheville, NC: http://www.evendon.net/PGHLookups/CarnegieAlums1928/ASSOCIATE49.html William Jr. shows in business listings in the Belleview/Avalon "Red Book" of 1904: http://www.evendon.net/PGHLookups/cgi-bin/HandOff-1_0.cgi?RedBook1904CD+PGre d1904+0097 http://www.evendon.net/PGHLookups/cgi-bin/HandOff-1_0.cgi?RedBook1904CD+PGre d1904+0197 Don -----Original Message----- From: pa-pittsburgh-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:pa-pittsburgh-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Tomi Larson Sent: Sunday, July 13, 2008 11:27 AM To: pa-pittsburgh@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PA-PITTSBURGH] Guyton 1900-1930 Hello, Sorry for not being more explicit - my Guytons were in the Pittsburgh area in 1900 and later, William and Marie Lewis Guyton, in 1920 and 1930 lived in the 23rd ward at 610 Lockhart Street. I am most interested in William and Marie Lewis Guyton, but someone with connections to William's family, who appear in the 1910 census in Avalon ward 3 and most likely lived in Pittsburgh earlier, may have information. William's parents were William W and Mary, siblings were Ella, May, Joseph, Herbert, James, Beatrice, grandparents William M and B.Ellen.
