    3. I have on a family relative of mine from the Diocese of Pittsburgh - it is information about Leonard Schuck marriage to Mariam Scheitz and it shows a witness - Joannes Geissler. The name is in the latin form. My family is Leonard Schuck and it is dated March 13, 1882. Could this be a relative of yours? I know nothing about the Geisslers. Thank you, Sue -----Original Message----- From: pa-pittsburgh-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:pa-pittsburgh-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Tomi Larson Sent: Sunday, April 13, 2008 12:51 PM To: Pittsburgh Rootsweb Subject: [PA-PITTSBURGH] German surnames Hello, I have been researching my Geisler family from Pittsburgh and have run across a number of other German surnames who were either friends or relatives. Many of these people were witnesses to baptisms at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in the 1880s and 1890s. The Geislers lived in the 22nd Ward in 1870, 20 ward in 1880 on Shady Lane, Meadow Street in 1910 and Colombo Street. The surnames are: Sageman, Kruft, Ganster, Kirchner, Lauderheim, Suhr. Does anyone know of any relationships among these names? Tomi _________________________________________________________________ Going green?
