Dear Listers, Hi Listers, That's what it is here in Central FL. Many schools, but some are duly needed to be refurbished, is in the beginning stages of getting new schools for our immediate local areas, but slowly. The problem is the older population doesn't want to spend money there! It's unfortunate that most people here feel that "it's not my problem"! I volunteer at one that, in my opinion needs to go by the wrecking ball, either rebuilt, or used for other things, the kids absorbed by the many other schools in the area. You do find some that don't' feel that way, but everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's what this country is all about, I guess. Sorry about venting, but just felt strongly, because we just voted about the sales tax here in Lake county!
