I thought y'all might enjoy this: Yesterday morning I found an e-mail identified as from the 'International program Fund for the Apprehension of Terrorists and Dangerous Criminals' ... which announced they will accept donations and assistance...to 'uncover and punish terroists (sic) organizations headed by Osama bin Laden'. It went on to furnish information; "roting" (sic) number, account number, name etc. of a Texas bank to send donations to. The name on the account, real or imagined, was Russian. What struck me as humorous was the P.S. attached which asked if anyone had information where Osama Bin Laden is right now please send it to (e-mail address). The first thing that crossed my mind - shall we check our local telephone directories, or perhaps call our local "spook" to inquire. I forwarded the message to the local FBI office which acknowledged receipt and added it would be forwarded to the "Command Post". So the scammers are working, but this one was at least funny. Carol S.
