Ed, You hit it right on when you said the president has to have the support of the people and Congress - Clinton didn't. It's really sad an event as devastating as Sept. 11 had to happen so the support of the nation would allow our president to take action. I hope the support and comaradrie shown recently puts an end to this Republicans against Democrats and our leaders get on with what they are elected to do - work together for our country - and in turn, the world.
