Hi, I am a new subscriber. Looking for my father's roots: Fulton William Stitzell, b. Oct 16, 1914, d. Dec 15, 1996. b & d in Pittsburgh, PA. His parents: William Christopher Stitzell and Marie Jean Fulton. Parents of William: (?) William C. or H. Stitzell - all I know is that he died in 1936. and Alice Johnston or McCullough. Alice b. 1872 (maybe Scotland),d. 1970 in Presby Home in Oakmont, PA. at age 97. Alice or Nana as we called her, was very secretive about her family. I have a bible that was in her trunk when she died with one Johnston family listed - only. also, many photos that are (what else) unidentified. I have some Stitzell info on William's sibling - could have been 10 or more according to obit of (another) William Stitzell, b. 1821 or 1823, d. Mar 10, 1907. Says survived by 6 sons and 4 daughters. I also have his funeral bill. Who was his wife - wives - ?? Elizabeth shows in 1910 census with children: Sophia, age 47, Oliver, age 28, Clyde C., age 23, in Homstead, PA. Clyde was my gr uncle and I remember going to his house in Homestead up a huge flight of cement steps. Anyone out there know more of these folks? Emma Stitzell, 1871-1961, m. Joe Robinson is most likely another sibling of William. I have the complete line on Joe if anyone is interested and a photo of Emma - somewhere. Thanks for any help.
