Thanks Sue, but the 'silence' seems deeper than this. I literally have not had ONE mailing from at least five different lists since September, all of which used to be fairly active. And that coincides with the last month available for browsing on most of the lists at Rootsweb. Also, when I try to re-submit my name for subscription, I get no 'receipt' mailed back to me like I have in the past. Makes me wonder if the lists still exist at all. By January things settle down, people become snow bound or just stay in more because of the weather, then the lists pick up again.
