Good morning list!!!! - I enjoy viewing you comments and certainly miss the local area. I am looking for information on John Moss. According to copy of old obituary, he was born at Charters Creek, Alleghany County, Pa April 16, 1833. He was married to Sarah Graham at Charters Creek, Pa. March 15, 1855. Left Charters Creek, Pa in 1858. I am trying to identify parents and siblings, either side. Seeking any information to verify he was here. I use to live in West Mifflin and thought when I read this Obit that perhaps Charters Creek was Chartiers as I had never heard of Charters Creek, but that doesn't mean it didn't exist in 1833. Can anyone provide any help?
